Peek - a - Boo to You

Check out this video! This is our new favorite thing to do at meal time. It is especially nice when Zoie's fingers are all "yucked" up with food that way it gets all over her face!

BELLY BUTTON!!!!

Zoie found her belly button!! The incident occurred one night while she was "helping" me cook dinner. She was playing the floor when suddenly she discovered her belly button. She was mesmorized to the point she kept falling over trying so diligently to find it. She kept raising her shirt and looking at me with a face full of accomplishment. It was absolutely hilarious. We took this video several days later.
Now she can also identify her nose and ears, but once you ask where her belly button is she won't even consider looking for the others. We have a little work to do for eyes and mouth yet!

MOMMY'S BIG HELPER

Since she started walking, Zoie has been "great" at helping with the dishwasher. Her help has elevated to a new level as she has now learned to STAND on the door of the dishwasher. She really enjoys that as she can now reach all the dishes on the top rack which seem to be more fun than those on the bottom rack! Hopefully I can soon teach her to help with dishes while standing beside the door before she exceeds the weight limit!

OUR FIRST PONYTAIL!!!

So here are those adorable pearly whites I was talking about. The two beside them aren't in quite far enough to see yet so stay tuned!

So here it is. If you look really close..... on the top of her head.... there it is!!! Zoie's very first ponytail!!!!

I wouldn't say she was a huge fan but didn't quite mess with it as much as she does her hair bows. It had a hair bow too before nap, but then it all came out. I decided for the second round we would just skip the bow!

The BEGINNING

So here we go. This is our, or should I say my, attempt at blogging. It shall be quite a process of trial and error but, hopefully in time will be a great way for all our beloved family and friends who are far away to keep up with us. My goal is to eventually post about once a week. Sooooo, stay tuned for the NEWS!!
As for now, we are enjoying settling in after the holidays and our travel to Oklahoma. We are also trying to recover from being sick and for Zoie, teething as well. She has officially broken through the skin with teeth #5 and 6. She is too cute with all these top teeth coming in. I will include some pics from Christmas and the new year. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
