We are having very BLAH weather today! It is only 69 degrees. Apparently the wind is blowing at 29 miles per hour however, I would have guessed more like75! I can't believe it has kept this up all day. It seems relentless.
The past few days have not been the greatest summer days but, we have persevered. Wednesday, we went to the sprinkler park donning swimsuits and sunscreen. We got sprinkled on, not by the fountains but, by mother nature the entire time. We even ate our picnic lunch in the sprinkles under the gray skies.
Thursday was not too different. Our zoo trip too was accentuated with sprinkles and cloudy skies. At least the animals weren't too warm so they were out and about.
Yesterday was Friday at the pool for a Feiner Daycare. Again park picnic and play and pool time all topped off with lovely sprinkles.
The thing is, the previous days, the sun came out in the pm and even when it was cloudy, it wasn't windy. Today is just awful. You know it is bad when Libby runs out the door for a potty break and beelines stright back in.
So, I chose this lovely shade of green to brighten our spirits and a fun pic to leave you with!
